APPROACH
Roffa Mon Amour has manifested itself as a cultural, and experimental festival, known for its creative and daring films. We decided to build them a graphic domain that is cohesive with the legacy of their past, yet laced with a contemporary twist that reflects the platform’s forward-thinking approach.
TYPOGRAPHY
At the heart of Roffa Mon Amour’s visual identity lies a custom typography which perfectly embodies its essence.
It has a unique and cult-like character that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who comes across it. Inspired by Gill Kayo, the custom typeface serves as a foundation for the identity — quirky, playful and romantic just like the festival itself.

Introducing RMA Summer Film School. The custom fonts offers versatility, making it usable in multiple creative ways across various aspects of the brand.
BRAND ELEMENTS
Every new edition, we will opt for a fresh and eye-catching colour combination whilst preserving recognizable elements like typography and the subtle fade that creates a spotlight-like effect. All combined, they radiate a playful, romantic and pleasantly surprising atmosphere, perfectly capturing the platform’s celebration of intelligent and creative cinema.
The identity is constructed as a framework to showcase various film stills, to evoke the very essence of the film festival and the films it represents.
VISUAL IDENTITY
The identity connects at various points to cinematic elements, and with the new custom typography, we've established a flexible and recognizable style. The rebranding successfully captured the essence of the platform’s mission.
